Silver Wings
"Silver Wings" is named after the song my parents always danced to whenever it was played. After forty-seven years of marriage, it became one of those quiet traditions that said more than words ever could. Their love wasn't defined by grand moments, but by a lifetime of small ones. This piece is my tribute to that quiet, enduring kind of love shared between two people who never stopped choosing each other.
Love Lives On
Love Lives On began with a photograph I took at Caspersen Beach on Venice Island, FL, a place that always brings me peace. It seemed like the perfect setting for this tribute. Hibiscus and beaches make me happy the same way hummingbirds made my mom, Addie, happy.
The legacy she left our family was the example she set through her kindness, her grace, and the way she treated others.
This piece is a tribute to that legacy and my commitment to carry her love forward in all that I do. My hope is that it also reminds you of someone, somewhere, or some moment that still brings a smile to your face.
